Many years after the earlier phases of this development were completed, we were asked to join a new design team to help develop a series of newly designed A rated detached and semi detached houses, aligning the specification, the spend and the client demand. We initiated a market research survey to ascertain what worked and what didn’t in previous phases and used this as a benchmark going forward. Much of the quality in these houses is subtle – concrete first floors, under floor heating, electronic car charging, low maintenance external finishes, abundant storage, high performance appliances, etc.
